TUESDAY MAY 22 Police met with the owner of a building on the 5300 block of West 110th Street who said that someone has been dumping illegally in her parking lot. Around 11 a.m., one of her tennats said some had dumped 15 windows in their parking lot. She said there more construction materials dumped in front of the same business but did not report it. SATURDAY APRIL 28 The ex-girlfriend and ex-wife of man recovering in the hospital clashed during a visit at Advocate Christ Medical Center, 4440 W. 95th St. According to the ex-girlfriend, while visiting the patient whom she dated 14 years ago, his ex-wife walked into the room around 8:21 a.m. The ex-wife started screaming at the ex-girlfriend, saying, “I’m going to make you hurt." The ex-girlfriend was disturbed by the remarks. She told police she was alone in the doorway and doesn’t believe that anyone heard the threats, police said. She did not want to press charges against the ex-wife, but wanted the incident documented. SUNDAY APRIL 15 Police went to George’s Lounge at 5407 W. 95th St. shortly after midnight after a neighbor complained about noise coming from the tavern. The officer stood outside but didn’t hear any noise, so he left. After leaving, the neighbor who called 911 asked for the police to come back. The neighbor told police he had problems with the bass level coming from the bar. While standing in front of neighbor’s home, the officer said he could hear the bass from the bar. The owner, John Cerniuk, was issued a village citation for keeping a disorderly house. Cerniuk was not on the premises to the officer gave the citation to a bartender.
