Advocate Christ Doc Faces More Sex Abuse Charges After Second Woman Steps Forward

Dr. Rajat Prakash charged with felony criminal sexual abuse after a second female patient stepped forward.

Oak Lawn Police announced Friday afternoon that more charges have been filed against an Advocate Christ Medical Center doctor who has already been accused of touching a female patient inappropriately. Dr. Rajat Prakash, 46, of Oak Brook, was charged with one felony count of criminal sexual abuse by force on May 2. Following a misdemeanor battery charge that he had fondled a 32-year-old woman with multiple sclerosis while she was in a semi-conscious state, Oak Lawn police said another woman came forward a few days after charges were filed on Feb. 15.
