He is bidding for his fourth straight appearance in the IHSA state finals and his second IHSA state championship. And he is right on track to fulfill all of his goals. Providence Catholic standouts take titles at top in-season wrestling tournament; sophomore Tom Howell leads Marist to seventh-place finish.
Edwin Cooper and Eddie Klimara have been regulars on the top of the awards stand at the Al Dvorak Memorial Tournament. He advances to Thursday's semifinals along with teammate Jordan Ellingwood (189). Their efforts helped the Wildcats to 93 points and an eighth-place showing after Day 1.
