Oak Lawn warrant arrests from Jan. 16 through Jan. 22.
TUESDAY, JANUARY 22 An employee who could not get the alarm code entered in time at a business located in the 6300 block of West 95th Street was picked up on a warrant. Police responded to a security alarm around 10 a.m. Jan. 22, where they encountered an employee identified as William J. Price, 27, of Chicago, who was wanted on warrant out of Cook County for an October 2012 offense. FRIDAY, JANUARY 18 Police went to an address in the 5100 block of West 87th Street looking for a woman identified as Sonia N. Wagner, 37, in connection to an alleged hit-and-run traffic crash around 9:35 a.m. Jan. 18. Wagner met with offices and denied knowing about the crash, reports said. Police picked up two people wanted on warrants during separate incidents.
Two Evergreen Park fugitives were taken into police custody last month in two separate incidents. A Burbank man was a passenger in a car that was stopped by Oak Lawn police after the driver of the vehicle was stopped allegedly for speeding on the 4900 block of West 95th Street around 1:07 a.m. Dec. 23. In an effort to clean up the south suburbs, Cook County Sheriff’s Police took 22 individuals into custody with outstanding warrants on July 25, including an Oak Lawn fugitive.
