BLOTTER: Juveniles Run Wild Through Jewel, Men Fight Over Petting Dog

Oak Lawn police reports, March 26-28.

THURSDAY March 28 Two men were charged with disorderly conduct after they reportedly fought over petting a dog. Police responded to a call of men fighting in the 9600 block of Southwest Highway around 7:03 p.m. Officers spoke to both men who were highly intoxicated, reports said. Wilfredo Morales, 54, of the 9600 block of Keeler Avenue, told police that he was trying to pet the other man’s dog, police said. The other man, identified as Dale R. Kinzie, 53, of the 6400 block of West 84th Street in Burbank, became angry, and ordered Morales not to speak to his dog, according to the report. Unruly Patrons Break Mirror in Bar, Cops Say

Two people charged after throwing shot glasses at Oak Lawn Tavern, police say.

Oak Lawn police arrested two people after they allegedly threw items around an Oak Lawn bar and broke a mirror, reports said. Sign up for the Oak Lawn Patch newsletter and follow us on Facebook. An employee at St. James Place at 5305 W. 95th St. told police she was waiting on customers, when a woman identified as Michelle C. McKeown, 24, requested a glass of water. When the employee told McKeown it would take a minute because she was busy, police said that McKeown became “belligerent” and threw a shot glass at the employee. Both McKeown and the man she was with, Eric Fred Sokolewicz, 28, were told they had to leave immediately, reports said. Two Chicago men charged with felony possession of controlled substance and drug equipment after various forms of synthetic cannabis are found in car, cops say.

Two Chicago men were charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug equipment after both were found smoking  Scooby Snax Blueberry Bliss synthetic cannabis inside a Buick LeSabre, reports said. Stoners Jump Man Walking Home from Work

Cops say muggers were after 29-year-old man's backpack.

A 29-year-old man was jumped while walking home from work near Marion Avenue and 97th Street, reports said. Sign up for the Oak Lawn Patch newsletter and follow us on Facebook. Oak Lawn police said the man noticed two young males in the alley between Ridgeland and Marion as he walked home around 11:37 p.m. March 15. BLOTTER: Wallet Stolen During Sex, Warrant Arrest

Oak Lawn police reports from March 5, 2013.

TUESDAY MARCH 5 A 32-year-old man reported his wallet stolen by a woman that he met at Lucky’s Bar on 95th Street in Chicago Ridge. The man and woman left the bar to go back to his apartment in the 6300 block of West 99th Place around 10:26 p.m. While there, the woman performed a sex act on the man the left. Soon after, the man noticed that his wallet was missing, along with his Capital One card. The man contacted the credit card company and informed that the his card had already been used to make a $1 purchases at Speedway and Citgo, Western Union, and $104 purchases at two Chicago Walgreens stores. Blotter: Burglar Empties Rooms, Bizarre Trespasser

Oak Lawn police reports, Feb. 28 to March 4.

MONDAY, MARCH 4 While a couple was out to dinner, burglars used a crowbar to pry their way into the couple’s home in the 5600 block of West 99th Place sometime before 7:30 p.m. Police said three bedrooms were ransacked. The homeowner said he was missing some watches, his social security card, costume jewelry and $1,000 in cash. Police said that the homeowner’s wife’s wallet was stolen at another restaurant in Worth where they were dining five to seven days before. The couple did not file a police report for the stolen wallet. Woman's Wrist Twisted for Cell Phone

Police say robber followed woman as she crossed 95th Street, then grabbed her phone, plus the week's police and crime news.

Oak Lawn police are investigating a street robbery in which a woman was strong-armed on 95th Street as she walked back to work. Police said that a 42-year-old woman was carrying her iPhone in her hand when she noticed a man walking behind her as she crossed 95th Street and Kilbourn Avenue around 6:18 p.m. March 11. Once she reached the first gate opening to the construction site at Advocate Christ Medical Center the man walked up beside her and twisted her wrist before grabbing the phone out of her hand. CAR BURGLARIES: Handgun Stolen from Unlocked Car and MORE

WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 13 A 2005 Nissan Pathfinder was parked in the lot at LA Fitness, 8812 S. Cicero Ave., when someone smashed the front passenger window sometime before 7:55 p.m. The thief removed a tote bag on the front passenger floorboard. SUNDAY FEBRUARY 10 A 43-year-old woman who is a security officer reported that someone entered her Ford Edge parked in the 4900 block of West Wick Drive. According to the report, the security officer’s duty handgun, which was in a lock box on the rear floor, and GPS unit were both stolen sometime before 2:48 p.m. Police said the security officer thinks her remote starter control unit malfunctioned and prevented her doors from unlocking. FRIDAY FEBRUARY 8 A 25-year-old Oak Lawn man was charged with public indecency when he was spotted urinating behind a bar in the 9700 block of South Cicero Avenue. Officers observed Michal A. Weyer around 12:12 a.m. relieving himself next to a Dumpster in full view of the public and patrons exiting the pub, police said. The officer illuminated Weyer with the spotlight on the squad car and told him “to wrap it up and fasten his pants,” reports said. Weyer allegedly stated, “My pants are up, sir,” and continued to urinate ignoring the police officer’s commands.
