Illinois Republican Wants To Quit the Party and Run as a Dem

An open letter to the members of the Illinois Republican Party Central Committee and Chairman Pat Brady.

To Whom It May Concern: Never in my life would I have ever imagined I would be at my wits end with my own party leaders, until now.   Let it be known: IF Pat Brady IS NOT voted out as Chairman of the Illinois Republican Party at the April 2013 meeting of the Illinois Republican Party Central Committee meeting, and IF HE WON’T voluntarily step down, I may have NO OTHER ALTERNATIVE but to resign my membership in the Illinois Republican State Party.  He, along with the voting members of the Illinois Republican Party Central Committee, are in control of the movement of a lot of teetering dominos right now, and let me tell you, many of them are at their tipping point.   I cannot remain part of an organization whose top party leaders, as well as…

Grabowski Grabs GOP Nod for 3rd District in Decisive Win

Hometown materials-supervisor faces Congressman Dan Lipinski in 3rd Congressional race in November.

Materials-supervisor Rich Grabowski handily won the Republican nomination in the Illinois 3rd Congressional District. Grabowski, a constitutional conservative, faces Democratic Congressman Dan Lipinski in November. The Hometown man beat Western Springs-attorney Jim Falvey in a 2-to-1 landslide. Perennial fringe candidate and Holocaust denier Arthur J. Jones of Lyons came in a distant third. Grabowski won 59 percent of the vote with 20,536, followed by Falvey with 29 percent or 10,287, and Jones capturing 10 percent with 3,797. Asked what he was going to do next, Grabowski answered, “sleep.” “I haven’t done that for awhile,” he continued. “Tomorrow I will start work at 6:30 a.m.” Grabowski won endorsements from Orland, Worth and Palos …

ABC7 has declared Richard L. Grabowski of Hometown the winner of the GOP primary for the Congressional 3rd District. Grabowski handily beat Western Springs attorney Jim Falvey and neo-Nazi Arthur J. Jones of Lyons for the Republican nomination. Grabowski goes up against Democrat Congressman Dan Lipinski in November.
