Police pick up two on outstanding warrants in separate incidents, reports say.

TUESDAY FEBRUARY 5 Oak Lawn Police were dispatched Hilton Oak Lawn at 9333 S. Cicero Ave. to check on a 25-year-old man said by the caller to be despondent and possibly doing drugs around 10:53 p.m. The man in question answered the door and appeared to have just woken up, police said. According to the report, the man told officers that he wasn’t depressed and did not feel harming himself or anybody else. The man stated that his “Baby Mama” has been calling police because he has been going out with another girl, police said. Officers spoke with the other occupant in the room, a woman identified as Desiree M. Cahill, 30, of Burbank, who advised police that she had been with the man all afternoon. Oak Lawn warrant arrests from Jan. 16 through Jan. 22.

TUESDAY, JANUARY 22 An employee who could not get the alarm code entered in time at a business located in the 6300 block of West 95th Street was picked up on a warrant. Police responded to a security alarm around 10 a.m. Jan. 22, where they encountered an employee identified as William J. Price, 27, of Chicago, who was wanted on warrant out of Cook County for an October 2012 offense. FRIDAY, JANUARY 18 Police went to an address in the 5100 block of West 87th Street looking for a woman identified as Sonia N. Wagner, 37, in connection to an alleged hit-and-run traffic crash around 9:35 a.m. Jan. 18. Wagner met with offices and denied knowing about the crash, reports said. Police picked up two people wanted on warrants during separate incidents.

Two Evergreen Park fugitives were taken into police custody last month in two separate incidents. A Burbank man was a passenger in a car that was stopped by Oak Lawn police after the driver of the vehicle was stopped allegedly for speeding on the 4900 block of West 95th Street around 1:07 a.m. Dec. 23. Greenwood According to the police report, the driver was in a hurry to get home and told police he was not aware he was going 50mph in a 30mph speed zone. Cook County Sheriff's Police round up felons and guns in two-day warrant sweep targeting south suburbs.

  In an effort to clean up the south suburbs, Cook County Sheriff’s Police took 22 individuals into custody with outstanding warrants on July 25, including an Oak Lawn fugitive. The Cook County Sheriff has arrest warrants out for these accused "deadbeat parents" and in the south suburbs.

The following warrants for failure to provide child support were listed by the Cook County Sheriff's Office as of April 5: Keith Penelton, 52, had $39,917.36 in child support payments racked up as of April 5. His last known address was in the 1200 block of West End in Chicago Heights. Authorities have also listed Katrina Johnson, 40, of the 200 block of East 24th Street in Chicago Heights, as being delinquent on child support payments. She owes $11,322. The last known address listed for Ronald Istad, 49, is in the 1200 block of Gordon Street in New Lenox, according to county records. He owes a total of $68,959.34 in child support payments.
