POLICE BLOTTER: Fake Dealer Plate, House Guest from Hell

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 14 A Chicago woman was cited for improper use of registration and other traffic offenses when police spotted a fraudulent Indiana dealer’s plate on her car, police said. Police stopped the car in the 10000 block of South Cicero Avenue around 11:04 a.m. Officers recognized from previous experience that the plate had a shiny finish and discoloration, indicating that it was a laminated photo-copy, the report said. A computer check revealed the driver, identified as Irene Saucedo, 22, of Chicago, had a suspended driver’s license. The dealer’s license was also phony, police said.
