Oak Lawn residents showed the planet some love at the village's annual Earth Day Celebration on Saturday. Although the day was cold there were plenty of activities to keep children and their parents warm thoughout the day at the Wolfe Wildlife Refuge at 109th Street and LaPorte. Kids got their hands dirty planting seeds and making recyclable flower pots with park district and the Black Oak Girl Scouts.
