Registered sex offender turns up at registered address after disappearing, cops say.
A convicted sex offender in violation of not registering with police was found at his Oak Lawn address after disappearing for several weeks, reports said. Oak Lawn police had attempted to locate Hampton at this address numerous times in October, until he was eventually deemed in violation of the Illinois Sex Offender's Act as "address unknown," police said.
