Mother McAuley to Compete in National Science Bowl
If the team wins, they'll get a trip to Washington D.C. where they will compete on national-level.
A group of exceptionally brainy Mother McAuley students are prepping to go up against some of Chicago’s finest high schools in the regional round of the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Scicence’s National Science Bowl. The competition is one of 120 regional bowls across the country. It will take place Feb. 23 at Evanston Township High School. If the girls win, they will receive a fully paid trip to Washington D.C. in late April where they will compete on a national level for prizes for both the team and Mother McAuley High School—although exactly what those prizes are has yet to be determined.
