Mary Kay Barton is a life-long South Sider. She grew up in the Little Flower parish between Western and Ashland on 79th Street. She has lived in Oak Lawn for 40 years, raising her family. Mary Kay has worked as a senior buyer for a large manufacturing firm and as an administrative assistance for another large corporation. She volunteers for numerous local organizations, including the Oak Lawn Green Team . Sshe writes a weekly Oak Lawn column for Southwest News Herald.
