St. Francis' Day Blessing of Animals

Bring your dogs and cats, goldfish and turtles, snakes and rabbits, to worship with you for a blessing this Sunday, on the day when we remember St. Francis of Assisi.  We pray for all of the creation, especially creatures who are suffering or abused, and remember those who have died and are greatly missed.  Children who do not have pets are invited to bring a stuffed animal with them.  
All animals receive treats and certificates.  Animals should be either caged or leashed, and may stay in the sanctuary with their owners throughout worship.
