Energize your business at “Business After Hours,” hosted by the Oak Lawn and Alsip Chambers of Commerce tonight starting at 5 p.m. at Las Fuentes Restaurant, at 11501 S. Pulaski Road, in Alsip.
Meet, mingle and mix it up with other local businesses, while enjoying a delicious Mexican buffet. Cost to attend is $7.

Oak Lawn Farmers Market -- Only two more farmers markets are left after after today. Pick up some fall apples and veggies. The farmers market runs every Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Cook and Dumke.

D123 Tuition Preschool Open House -- If you’re the parent of a three- or four-year-old, Dist. 123 is holding an open house for its tuition preschool for the 2014-15 school year. The open house will be held at Kolmar School, where the preschool is currently housed.
