Buy a Ball, Hoist a Beer, Raise the Beams

There is going to be a Golf Ball Party at The Goal Post on Monday (July 11). Buy a golf ball benefiting the 9/11 First Responders Monument and watch it get dropped out of a helicopter at the Chamber of Commerce golf outing.

Don’t forget that The Goal Post will be selling golf balls for the Great Ball Drop from a helicopter hovering over Stony Creek Golf Course.

Buy a ball tonight at The Goal Post – named after pub in Ireland – and get free beer and wine from 6-8:30pm Monday (July 11).

The ball drop is just one of the many events planned for the Oak Lawn Chamber of Commerce’s golf outing at Stony Creek. Come visit Patch at the beer hole, or watch 2,000 golf balls rain from a helicopter.

A ball costs $20 or buy three balls for $50. All proceeds will go toward the 9/11 First Responders Monument that includes beams from the fallen World Trade Center. The Oak Lawn Rotary Club is

Balls will be dropped from the helicopter over a marked area at Stony Creek. Whichever numbered ball falls into the hole first or comes closest to the hall, wins some lucky person $5,000. There will be chances to win other cash prizes as well.
