ISACorps

Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) has several job openings in its ISACorps program for recent college graduates interested in working with students and parents as they navigate the college going process, especially for students who will be the first in their family to go to college and/or are from low-income households. Bachelor’s degree required (must have earned no earlier than May 2012). For candidates that have not yet earned a bachelor’s degree, contracts will be contingent on graduating prior to the start date. Candidates with strong verbal and written command of a foreign language, such as Spanish, Polish or Mandarin.Corps members are placed geographically in community college districts throughout the state. The Illinois Tollway System is seeking a writing specialist. Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing or English. Written exam (if applicable) are required.  Candidates must undergo extensive background check, oral interview and provide proof of degree, certification, etc. Fluency in Spanish a plus. TelAssist

TelAssist—based in Oak Lawn—supports other business by providing customer support and telephone answering services 24/7. Job applicants must be able to work weekends and major holidays. TelAssist promotes from within. Jobs are permanent not “temp jobs.” The company holds four open houses a week, but interested applicants are invited to apply in person from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.
