TCF Bank Branch Inside Oak Lawn Jewel-Osco Closing

The bank is set to close in March of 2014.

The TCF Bank branch at the Oak Lawn Jewel-Osco store will be amongst the 37 branches closing by the end of March.

According to Crain's Chicago Business, the branches are closing as part of the bank's consolidation efforts tied to the growth of online banking options. TCF bank branches will still remain open in 118 other Jewel grocery stores.

In addition to Oak Lawn's Jewel at 4650 W. 103rd St., nearby Jewel location in Palos Heights and Mount Greenwood will also have shuttered TCF branches.

While TCF may be closing some Jewel locations, it plans to add 52 ATM machines to CTA stations across the city, according to the report.
