Last Saturday at the Pet Supplies Plus store in Buffalo Grove the volunteers of Critter Corral Guinea Pig Rescue were busy as beavers as a wonderful turnout of adopters, supporters and interested folk visited them at their adoption event. Some folk brought their piggies out for a nail trim, and we thank them for their donations for this sometimes tricky service, some came out looking for information about adopting a guinea pig in the future and how to care for them, and most importantly, some came out to adopt a piggie, and two, and even three, to new forever homes! All in all 14 guinea pigs were adopted, including two darling piggies who had been in the Rescue for over a year. We thank everyone who adopted, donated and inquired! We couldn't have done it without you!
