Billy Corgan's Wrestling Company to hold Fundraiser for St. Laurence High School

In an
effort to help young students, Resistance Pro is holding its next event in
south suburban Burbank, Ill. benefiting St. Laurence High School. On Saturday, Sept.
7, 2013, the 17th production of Resistance Pro, “Alive,” will be a
fundraising event for the school’s wrestling teams. A portion of the proceeds
of the event will go to the St. Laurence Viking (high school) and Badger
(youth) wrestling teams. Resistance Pro is a partnership between Smashing
Pumpkins singer/songwriter Billy Corgan and brothers Jacques and Gabriel Baron. 

“Alive”
will be an all-ages show and will be a TV taping for Resistance Pro’s YouTube
channel: RealResistancePro. The event starts at 7:30 p.m. but doors will open
at 6 p.m. St. Laurence High School is located at 5556 West 77th
Street, Burbank, Ill.

The
day before “Alive,” Resistance Pro stars will be making a special guest
appearance at a south side school for children with special needs. Resistance
Pro’s C-Red, who’s real name is Sean Young, is a teacher at South Side
Occupational Academy and has started the Positive Outreach Program (POP). Young
is gathering his fellow wrestlers to give inspiration speeches to the students
at his school to provide motivation and encouragement. Representatives of
Resistance Pro will be addressing the students 1 p.m., Friday, Sept. 6, 2013,
South Side Occupational Academy, 7342 S. Hoyne Ave, Chicago, Ill.

Saturday
night’s event features special guest, WWE legend X-Pac as he takes on “The Male
Model” Ashton Vuitton (with Eric St. Vaughn). “Alive” includes
the rematch from the last event, “Stick It To Ya,” Jake O’Neill versus Scotty
“The Kid” Young. The Women’s Tag Team
Match includes Mickie “Moose” Knuckles & Nikki St. John versus Women’s
Champion D’Arcy Dixon & Thunderkitty. The “Burbank Brawl” No DQ Tag Team Match will be Mad Man Pondo &
“the Inspiration” Brady Pierce versus Da Soul Touchaz (Marshe Rockett &
Acid Jaz). Rematch from “Stick It To Ya” Barry Ryte (with his manager Colonel
Jesse Corgan & Miss Prig) versus “Juggernaut” Jon Malus. A Four-Way Elimination Match includes
Jocephus versus Suge D. versus Los Angle versus Cobra. The Heavyweight Title Match will be Vector A (with his manager

Colonel
Jesse Corgan & Miss Prig) versus current champion “The Ego” Robert Anthony.
Other stars include “Marvelous” Matt Knicks, Chris Castro, Remi Wilkins, Trevor
Court, Team I.O.U., Jacob Black and more.

admission tickets start at only $15 and $10 for children 10 and under. Third
and second row tickets are $20 and front row tickets are $30.
