Southwest Symphony Plays Russian Favorites

The Southwest Symphony Orchestra, celebrating its Golden Anniversary season, tips its hat to Agent 007 with a concert titled From Russia with Love, as the movie of the same name marks the Golden Anniversary of its release in 1963! This concert features works by Tchaikovsky and Prokofiev and begins at 4 p.m., Sunday, November 10, in the Ozinga Auditorium of Trinity Christian College, 6601 W. College Dr. (Rt. 83), Palos Heights 60463. Rep includes The Romeo and Juliet Overture and Symphony No. 6 (Pathetique). Tickets, from $5 to $25, can be purchased at the door, or in advance at 802-0686 or at www.southwestsymphony.com Seniors Pay $15. Anyone interested in auditioning for the Symphony should call the number above.
