Visit the planet at Wolfe Wildlife Refuge for Earth Day this Saturday (April 27) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Oak Lawn Park District and Oak Lawn Green Team are conjuring up a big celebration to celebrate the environment and learn how to take better care of the planet.

The free family-friendly celebration features Jim Nesci’s cold-blooded creatures, tons of children’s activities, plant giveaways, free raffles, demos and more. For more details, see the brochure.

Prairie specialist Lou Mule will be conducting a free tour of Wolfe and Chicago Ridge Prairie (not normally open to the public) beginning at 1:15 p.m.
