Spartan Artwork Goes to Washington

Oak Lawn senior Brian Pfister won first place in the 2014 Congressional Art Competition for the Third Congressional District.  Pfister submitted a photograph of soldiers lined up in formation at his brother’s Air Force graduation. The photograph highlighted wonderful composition and many other artistic elements. Pfister’s winning entry will be displayed in the United States Capitol for one year. Congressman Dan Lipinski visited the school to personally congratulate Pfister on his work and to provide two round trip airline tickets to travel to the nation’s capitol in June for the exhibition opening. Congratulations Brian!
