I am sorry that this happened BUT blaming it on the Mayor and board is just asinine!! What did some one wave a magic wand and break AUTOMATIC opener??? If the residents were not dressed for the weather oh well. Everyone knew the temperature when they left their homes. If they didn't dress for the weather shame on them!!! What if their car broke down?? Is that the boards fault too?! Extreme weather is the culprit. I used to walk down my street in ice skates with out guards to skate at Dillon Park. Oak Lawn residents need to get over the fact that there is a layer of snow on the damn street. Whine whine whine.
