Man Cited for Resisting Arrest, Yelling ‘Heil, Hitler’

Police say Oak Lawn man found was wandering through scene of accident in Oak Forest.

Erik Armstrong, 34, of the 4500 block of Rumsey, was charged with resisting arrest and cited for public intoxication in Oak Forest.

Oak Forest police responded to an accident at the intersection of 153rd and Cicero Avenue around 3:30 a.m. July 2. Police said Armstrong was walking through the accident scene yelling "Heil Hitler" and insulting officers.

Armstrong was told to leave the scene, but refused, police said. He was taken into custody until he sobered up and was released on bond.
