Burglars Smash Window
Burglars smashed the rear entry glass door of a home in the 9600 block of South Brandt Avenue sometime before 8:16 p.m. Police said the burglars removed jewelry and a TV from the upstairs bedroom. The burglars attempted to take an older tube television from the basement, but dropped it on the basement floor. The neighbors were home but did not see or hear anything suspicious.
