Cat Burglar Snatches Flat-Screen TV

A homeowner in the 10100 block of South Karlov Avenue reported her flat-screen TV stolen around 11:15 a.m. Police said someone broke into the house during the overnight hours by throwing a landscape brick through the “three-season room.” The burglar or burglars had also apparently checked some drawers and a metal box in two bedrooms where the woman does not sleep. Police said a side door to the attached garage was also left open. The woman remembers waking up at 2 a.m. but did not hear unusual noises through the night.
