Residents Ask Lipinski: 'When Are All the Middle-Class Jobs Coming Back?'

Residents spoke their minds to U.S. Rep. Dan Lipinski (D-IL) during a town hall meeting at Palos Hills City Hall on Saturday.

The town hall meeting drew residents from around the 3rd Illinois Congressional District encompassing Chicago's southwest suburbs and South Side.

The 9.1 percent national unemployment rate and stagnant job growth weighed heavily on residents' minds.

One woman told Lipinski that he voted more in line with House Republicans than his own party.

Another resident said the congressman had to "stop serving the rich people who run this country."
