Hyun’s Hapkido and Tae Kwon Do School Visits Peace

Burbank, IL –January 30, 2014 – Every woman should have some basic self defense skills. Master William Patterson and Master Young K. Cheun of Hyun’s Hapkido and Tae Kwon Do Schools recently instructed the Queen of Peace Frosh Physical Education and Sophomore Fitness classes in self defense.

The instructors were on hand 4 separate days. Students were shown various techniques of self defense as well as learning how to identify the potential for danger, keeping a safe distance from others and learning which areas of the body are most sensitive to hits, kicks and punches.

The objective of the school with teaching martial arts is to develop confidence and self-esteem, achieve physical fitness through positive participation in martial arts, improve mental discipline and emotional equanimity, learn self defense to protect yourself and your loved ones, and develop a sense of respect and responsibility for oneself and others. With over 42 years in martial arts experience, the Huyn’s Hapkido and Tae Kwon Do school is ranked number 1 in the country.
