Queen of Peace Holds Softball Clinic

Join us on Saturday, March 1, 2014 from 11-2pm at Queen of Peace High School for our annual softball clinic. The clinic is open to fourth through seventh grade girls as well as eighth grade girls who have already taken the entrance exam at Queen of Peace. There is a $10 registration fee and the fee includes a t-shirt.

Learn from former collegiate coach and new varsity head coach, Erin Sullivan. Coach Sullivan comes to Peace after eight years as the head coach at Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana. Coach Sullivan holds the single season win record as well as the single season highest winning percentage in program history. Her players have received numerous accolades. During Sullivan's tenure, the Belles had four pitchers throw six no-hitters. Coach Sullivan coached 19 All-MIAA players, two MIAA MVPs, a two-time MIAA Batting Champion, six NFCA All-Region athletes, 38 NFCA Scholar Athletes, one ESPN the Magazine Academic All-American, and a two-time NCAA All-American in eight seasons.

At the Queen of Peace softball clinic, you will learn the proper fundamentals of pitching, hitting, fielding, and base running. Whether you are trying out a position for the first time or improving on year’s worth of training, we will cater to your level of skill. Our coaches specialize in various aspects of the game and every player who attends will have the chance to learn from the expert coaches as well as have the opportunity to interact and train with Queen of Peace softball players!
