Annual Volleyball Tournament for Park Lawn Charity

Volleyball players and teams are needed for the Volleyball for Charity 31st annual Coed Volleyball Tournament and Party on Saturday, April 30.

Games will be played at select locations including the Chicago Ridge Park District, Brother Rice High School, and St. Xavier University.

All proceeds will benefit individuals with developmental disabilities at Park Lawn.

The 2010 tournament had 56 coed teams participating (more than  500 players) and the after tournament party at Beverly Country Club had a standing room crowd of more than 250 guests, players and supporters!

In 2010, Volleyball for Charity was able to donate $18,000 to Park Lawn.  Over the 30 years of our fundraising efforts, VFC has been able to donate more than $425,000.00 to benefit programs for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Players and non-players are welcome to attend the After Tournament Party from 6:30-10:30 p.m. at Beverly Country Club, 87th Street and South Western Avenue.  Party attendees must be 21 years of age. There will be an open bar all evening, two hours of assorted food and hors D’oeuvres, a premium silent auction, a cash raffle, music and dancing.

The tournament team fee is $300, which includes up to eight T-shirts.  The tournament and party package is $400.  This entitles the team to the volleyball games, T-shirts, plus up to eight tickets to the after tournament party.
