After falling behind 1-0, Oak Lawn rallied to score seven straight runs in a recent 7-2 softball victory over Rich East.
Even a 45-minute delay to start the game couldn't cool off Oak Lawn's offense. Backed with seven runs of support, Amanda Woods pitched four solid innings and Alexa Rothman finished the last three in the Spartans' recent 7-2 softball victory over Rich East.
Oak Lawn broke the game open in the second inning. Katie Sichelski led off with a bunt single, then stole second and third. Shannon Kendall drove her in with an RBI single.
Four batters later, Christie Lewis doubled home Kim Braasch and Rachel Burba to extend the Spartan lead to 4-1. Oak Lawn tacked on three more runs in the third inning.

Braasch was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and Burba finished 2-for-4 with two runs scored. Kendall was also 2-for-4 with two RBIs.
