‘Strong Prospects Will Keep Spartans Competitive,’ OLCHS Coach Says
Bring on the humidity, Coach Sean Lucas and the Oak Lawn Spartans are ready to play some ball.
Patch caught up with Coach Sean Lucas during a 101-degree practice for his take on the Oak Lawn Spartans 2013 football season before tonight’s home opener.
“I’m one of the few people that likes this kind of weather,” Lucas said. “It doesn’t bother me at all.”
Lucas is enthusiastic about the Spartans’ chances this season. He doesn’t put much stock into the Massey ratings that ranked Oak Lawn 266th in the Illinois high school football rankings.

“Everybody starts out 0-0,” he said.
