If you haven’t bought your pumpkin yet or need a few extra gourds to offset your Zombie Halloween yard motif, please consider First United Methodist Church of Oak Lawn’s pumpkin patch at 100th Street and Central Avenue. All of the proceeds from pumpkin sales go to the church’s community ministries that help neighbors facing financial hardship or are simply going through a difficult time.

Oak Lawn’s designated hours for trick or treating are 3 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31 (Halloween).
